Description

Staff365 is currently looking for a Production Team Leader to join our manufacturing client in Sheffield on a permanent basis.

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum depending on experience

Working hours:

  • Rotating shifts of Mornings and Afternoons, Monday to Friday
  • Mornings: 05:45 - 13:45 (Mon-Thurs), 05:45 - 12:45 (Friday)
  • Afternoons: 14:00 - 22:00 (Mon-Thurs), 13:00 - 21:00 (Friday)

Summary of Role/Responsibilities:

  • Leading first-stage labor management
  • Developing and managing team performance
  • Maintaining visual management boards
  • Managing department KPIs like H&S, 5s, OEE, and labor
  • Monitoring and ensuring stock accuracy
  • Conducting daily production meetings
  • Facilitating weekly team meetings
  • Quality assurance and non-conformance management

Experience Required:

  • Strong leadership and motivational skills in a high-volume production environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chains
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Background in machine operation or engineering is advantageous
