Description

The Head Teacher and Governing Body of Parkhead Community Primary School seek to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with groups and individual pupils across KS1 and KS2, supporting learning activities and their needs.

Assisting staff in planning, evaluating and adjusting learning activities as appropriate as well as development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour/Support/Mentoring plans,contributing to the overall ethos and aims of this Community Primary School.

You will be asked to support the children in a range of contexts both in the classroom, one to one, and in a group environment.

We are looking for a qualified Level 3 teaching assistant with:

  • Recent or current teaching assistant experience with children of primary school age.
  • Experience of working with children with social and emotional needs
  • Experience in dealing with professionals and parents
  • High expectations of what all pupils can achieve
  • An ability to motivate and inspire confidence in pupils
