Description

BBS Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Digital Mailroom Assistant in a temp position for our client in Hillingdon.


Responsible for providing a comprehensive scanning and indexing service including postal services and general administrative support for effective service delivery for Council wide services.

To demonstrate understanding of the Council's Customer Care Standards

and ensure that these standards are met to deliver the Council.

vision of 'putting our residents first'.

No direct supervisory responsibility however may be requirement to assist.

To provide a range of specialist and general administrative and/or data

processing duties to support effective service delivery for various Council.

To administer processes and procedures using available equipment and

various ICT packages to maintain accurate electronic and paper based.

records to meet organisational standards and requirements, thereby.

Deal efficiently and courteously with queries.

To respond to requests for information to assist in ensuring that scanning;
Indexing and relevant administrative duties service performance levels are met.

Support with archiving and retrieval of files as instructed.

To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for meeting tight

deadlines and committed to high standards of customer care.

Support the work of other administrative staff within the Business Support

service during periods of absence or unusually high volumes of work to

maintain the efficient provision of administrative services.

To maintain confidentiality in line with the Data Protection Act and General

Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) always.

Service Planning & Development

Maintain knowledge of the current Team Plan and understanding of own

contribution to ensure delivery of this plan.

To demonstrate cost-consciousness and identify any cost-effective

changes to own way of working.


Other Requirements
3 Years References

(HCC) A good standard of written English and Mathematics to at least GCSE C/ level 4 which can demonstrate an ability to work at this level or demonstrate relevant experience.


Salary:
£13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
