David Paull Engineering is a sub-contract precision engineering firm established in 1952 providing machined components predominantly for the Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas industries.
At DPE we have a very committed and mature approach to our AS9100 Quality Management System and our QMS processes have been established through recurring cycles of continual improvement.
The role:
We are now looking to strengthen our team by creating the full-time position of Quality System Administrator. It's an exciting and varied job and a real opportunity to start a career in Quality Assurance.
You'll support the CEO and wider team, to ensure that the day-to-day administrative elements required to run and develop the QMS are maintained and improved, the main duties include:
- Maintaining the QMS documentation in line with organisational procedures and CRM system.
- Collate and analyse quality data.
- Participate in internal audits and the maintenance of the internal audit program (training and support will be provided)
- Contribute to the documentation and development of preventative / corrective actions.
- Administer the change Control and New Product Introduction processes.
About You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is an excellent organiser and has a flexible approach to work and can-do attitude, which will help them grow and develop into this role.

- Great attention to detail.
- Good numerical and analytical skills and logical approach.
- The ability to think on your feet and manage your own workload to meet deadlines.
- The ability to work independently whilst also enjoying being part of a team.
- Diligent and articulate with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise, cope under pressure and demonstrate a highlevel of initiative.
- Good written communication skills.
Previous experience of working within the structure of a AS9100/ISO9001 QMS could be an advantage, but more emphasis will be put on the personal attributes that would make a successful administrator.
