Part time Health & Safety Officer

Salary:

- £24,050 per annum


Location:


  • Home based with the ability to visit Hastoe offices (Dorchester, Hampton Wick, Saffron Walden). There will be a requirement to attend a Hastoe office approximately once a month.

Hours:


  • 21 per week, over a minimum of 3 days per week.

AsHastoe's competent person, your main duties will include:

  • Monitoring and reporting on compliance of the Hastoe Group in meeting its statutory requirements.
  • To provide advice and support on safe working practices.
  • To undertake a programme of compliance audits, both desk top and site based.
  • To act as the lead officer for the Health and Safety Committee.

We're looking for:


  • A relevant Health and Safety qualification and membership of a nationally recognised professional body
  • Proven experience of providing health and safety advice and implementing operational policies, procedures and processes
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to use specialist software
  • Great organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Experience in building good working relationships across a business
