Member Engagement Manager - Manufacturing Technology - Hybrid / Field Based / Nationwide - £38k to £45k + Benefits_

A professional membership organisation is looking for a Member Engagement Manager to join their team.

This person will be responsible for visiting its corporate members on an annual basis, ensuring excellent customer relations, ensuring they are aware ofevents, educational shows, and various other benefits that membership provides / offers.

This role supports all areas of the Business and requires pro-active Member Support.

Experience in a Customer/ Member facing role would be essential along with a provenbackground as a net-worker with the ability to operate at all levels in member companies.

Experience in a similar role of service implementation, as well as experience of the manufacturing industry are important for this role.


SALARY ETC:

- £38k to £45k + benefits

  • Nationwide travel required, working on a hybrid / field basis (you will manage your own timetable, ensuring all members are visited at least once a year).
  • You will need to spend one or two days a month in the office, which is in central west London.
  • Travel and overnight expenses are all covered.
  • Permanent, fulltime.
  • Monday to Friday.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Experience / knowledge and confidence in talking to people in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in a Customer/ Member facing role would be essential, with an outgoing and approachable personality.
  • Proven background as a networker with the ability to operate at all levels in member companies.
  • Experience in a similar role of service implementation, as well as experience of the manufacturing industry are important for this role.

  • Experience in successful implementation of services is desirable.
  • Experience in using CRM / Salesforce or similar.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:


  • Maximise member value from membership.
  • Regularly visit members.
  • Regularly complete membership surveys about our services.
  • Sell and promote Events to include the Annual Dinner, Regional Events, Forecast Seminar etc
  • Assist with chasing members who have unpaid membership fees or symposium bookings.
  • Encourage members to use services they aren't using which you feel would be beneficial to them.
  • Feedback member comments to the CEO
  • Assist the management team in improving the services.
  • Update the CRM system with information gathered,
  • Produce field reports
  • Helping with marketing including open house, exhibitions, events, news etc
  • To gain a thorough understanding of all the product areas
  • To drive new membership sales within the manufacturing sector with the full support of all departments.
  • Promote Membership services to member companies.
  • Use New Business leads to sell Membership & Services to potential members and assist in growing Members.
  • To sell sponsorship area for events.
