The Beefsteaks are opening... a wine bar?

We're well-seasoned street food traders moving into our first proper bricks and mortar location, a Grade II-listed former pie & mash shop in Angel, Islington.

There's currently no kitchen in the space, so phase one of the opening will be a 60 cover "pop-up", Weds-Sat evenings only, serving seasonal British small plates, low-intervention wines and craft beer and cocktails.

We're looking for three Front of House team members, freelance initially, with the option of going full time as we expand the number of services.

Phase two will be a 100 cover, cooked-over-fire steakhouse once the kitchen is built and the rest of the historic restoration work complete.

You should be passionate about good service and quality ingredients - in particular ethically and sustainably sourced meat and fish.

An enthusiasm for wine is essential, some knowledge desirable, but full training will be provided along with the opportunity to take your WSET Level 2 and beyond down the line.

Bartending experience - in particular, cocktails - and personal licence holders welcome

Kind and friendly without being familiar. We're aiming for a relaxed vibe, but when things do get fast-paced, you'll remain calm.
