SRG is currently working exclusively with a highly successful, rapidly expanding contract development and manufacturing organisation focused on providing expert intelligence and support to their partners, driven by their capabilities.

As a result of expansion, we are looking for a Senior Formulation Scientist to join their product development team.


Role:

All administration routes & formulation types for small and large molecules.


Typical responsibilities:


  • Bring formulation expertise to guide the development of formulations and associated manufacturing processes for a range of simple and complex drug products.
  • Provide expertise in drug delivery and material characterisation to contribute to the development activities for challenging compounds and delivery vehicles for oral and parenteral drug products.
  • Work closely with the analytical scientist to ensure appropriate testing is carried out.
  • Help develop business development materials such as online presences, marketing communications and pitches.
  • Management of the financial aspects of projects with clients, such as costing proposals and invoicing
  • Manage CRO activities on behalf of the clients.
  • Represent the company at national and international meetings / conferences to build the reputation and awareness.

Essential Requirements:


  • Educated to a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or similar or educated to a Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or similar with 3+ years of experience in formulation development within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in drug delivery systems and have a great understanding of the regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Be able to design, develop, manufacture, develop and scale up of oral dosage formulations.
  • Be able to manage multiple projects and collaborate with external parties.
  • Valid UK driving license.
