**Insurance Account Manager
Full Time, Permanent
Gloucester

From £35,000 + Car Allowance**My client based in Gloucester are looking for an Insurance Account Managerto join their dynamic and fast-paced team.

The future looks very bright for my client and they are looking for dedicated for an Insurance Account Manager to join them during this reallyexciting time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver great customer service to brokers
  • Focus on the underwriting of new business, identifying opportunities through knowledge, experience and connections
  • Develop high quality relationships with brokers by conducting frequent visits to develop broker accounts
  • To develop trading methods to secure high conversion though successful lead to quote rates
  • Comply with the terms set out by capacity provider and follow procedures working within your underwriting authority level
  • You will hold a senior position in the team which includes senior underwriting authority and interfaces with management and stakeholders
  • Ensure the completion of daytoday administration including the processing of renewals, new business and midterm adjustments
  • Produce and maintain marketing information and document packs for all broker business
  • Have an awareness and understanding of compliance rules and FCA regulations and how to comply with them, including TCF
  • Minimum of 3 years underwriting experience, ideally in Property and Casualty business
  • Cert CII desired but not essential, but be willing to work towards this certification
  • Previous experience of working with brokers or within the broker industry
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • A Selfstarter
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
