Recently, our HR department migrated to Oracle HCM Fusion and is currently undergoing a significant transformation to modernize our working methods, establish a flexible and scalable architecture and data strategy, digitize our experiences, and extract insights from our vast amounts of data.

What you'll do

  • Be a passionate advocate of the Schroders HR Technology product vision and act as the voice of the customer throughout the product development cycle and portfolio management
  • Work in tandem with business owners to create a value driven HR Technology product vision, roadmap and set of desired outcomes aligning to the HR and company strategy
  • Ensure the right products are delivered to the business for its intended market (internal or external)
  • Develop, refine and prioritise the product goals and backlog, at an epic and user story level
  • Partner with Delivery and Engineering Leads
  • Manage risks and dependencies and product backlog prioritisation throughout the product lifecycle, with regards to feasibility, desirability and viability
  • Use discovery methods to quickly test and validate hypothesis for product improvement
  • Use evidencebased management techniques to identify and measure key value areas
  • Make daily decisions and tradeoffs through considering which alternative provides the most business value and improves time to market
  • Facilitate discovery workshops, planning and stakeholder meetings
  • Contribute to the sprint backlog when clarity is required from the delivery team
  • Accept completed epics and user stories according to the team definition of "done" and Schroders quality standards and policies
  • Accountable for maximizing business and customer value through the delivery of new and enhanced products
  • Shared responsibility for managing people in your teams, their inrole development, and supporting career progression in collaboration with your engineering and delivery counterparts as appropriate
  • Collaborate and contribute within the product community to define best practices taking initiative to work on your circle of influence to contribute to wider change
  • Providing support for your fair share of the administrative elements of a smoothrunning team such as budgeting and forecasting
  • Work with stakeholders to understand problems and opportunities and clearly articulate these to the delivery team to solution.
  • Work in close partnership with multiple 3rd Party suppliers to ensure our product requirements and enhancements are built into their roadmaps to ensure the best return of investment and vice versa
  • Discover, manage and prioritise Core HR requirements for the new Schroders HCM
The knowledge, experience, and qualifications you need

  • Product Roadmap and adoption of Oracle HCM suite into the business and experience leading HCM cloud solutions
  • Expertise in HR Product Management, Agile delivery principles, System Implementation, Project Delivery, HR Process, Change Management.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • Experience of working in a variety of agile ways
  • Ability to plan and organise effectively and deliver against outcomes
  • Successful B2B or B2C product management / ownership experience
  • Ability to use data, qualitative and quantitative, in your decisionmaking process
  • Good knowledge in the use of Tools & Techniques for Backlog prioritisation, managing dependencies
