Title:
WetSpray Painter

Reports to:
Paint shop Manager

Based at:
JS Group, Saltmeadows Road, Gateshead

Job Purpose:
Preparation, Spray Painting and Finishing signage

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Mainly to:

Prepare the surfaces to be covered
Setting up spray equipment
Mix required colour to exact match and consistency
Checking completed jobs as part of quality control
Cleaning and maintaining spray equipment and areas
Possibly Working from ladders or raised platforms
Always ensuring correct and proper use of PPE Equipment

Personal Requirements:

- enjoy practical and manual work
- good eyesight and normal colour vision
- good hand-eye coordination and concentration levels
- able to approach work in a systematic and thorough way
- able to keep up to date with technological changes

Pride and personal responsibility for jobs undertaken
Strong Team Player with the ability to work independently
Must be able to follow safety instructions with regards to working with Hazardous Materials
Reliable and dependable with Excellent Time Management

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£13.00 per hour or £27,040.00 per Annum
