Data Platform Tech Lead
- £90,000-110,000 ( bonus private medical insurance)

  • Flexible hybrid working, London office (once per month on average)
  • Large volumes data, queuing, streaming, cloud (AWS)
  • 80% technical, 20% people management

The company:

Join a hugely successful private equity backed SaaS business and take ownership of the data platform team.

You'll be accountable for the scalable data platform that is core to the businesses success. Managing 3 cross functional teams, you'll provide leadership and architectural guidance.

You will be at the heart of the largest tech transformation project within the business, you'll drive innovation.

The platform is currently ran on Cassandra, Elasticsearch, BigQuery, RabbitMQ, Kafka and Python.


Core experience required:


  • Large databases (petabytes, terabytes)
  • Queuing, streaming (Kafka preferred), Elasticsearch
  • Cloud (AWS preferred)
  • Leadership
  • Architecture
  • Engineering (this is a hands on technical role)

Logistics:

£90,000-110,000 bonus private medical insurance
