Solsbury Ltd are recruiting for a Training Co-ordinator - Mat. Leave (12 Months FTC) based in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.

JOB PURPOSE:


Co-ordinate and administer training requirements to ensure staff are trained and developed to enable them to be safe and successful in their roles.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Liaise with Managers regarding training requirements and where appropriate conduct a training needs analysis within agreed timelines.
  • Issue joining instructions to delegates prior to sessions being delivered.
  • Check confirmation of attendance during session and followup with nonattendance
  • Evaluation of training courses and materials including elearning to ensure standards of training meets business needs.
  • Monitor effectiveness of training by follow up with Line Managers and Individuals as defined by L&D Policy/Ways of Working.
  • Produce training reports, metrics, dashboards on all training interventions within given deadlines.
  • Facilitate Learning interventions as required to recognised standards
  • Coordinate NVQs
  • Identify and coordinate with potential training providers to meet business needs.
  • Support L&D Manager in managing budget requirements of the department including sourcing & coordinate solutions.
  • Support L&D Manager in defining budget for the following year coordinating with business.
  • Allocate Company Induction Programme to new starter profile and support to see successful completion.
  • Work with Businesses to ensure New Starter process is complete; all training is recorded and updated on the HRIS system.
  • Ensure all training process are complete for Leavers; Transfers; Job Changes; Probations etc.
  • Allocate eLearning as required and monitor completion.
  • Support Department audits as directed.
  • Administer CITB Levy & Grant claims and Apprenticeships Levy & claims.
  • Manage daytoday coordination of HRLMS/Training System ensuring data is kept uptodate.
  • Support Training Administration duties during annual leave or staff sickness/absence
  • Source and/or organise newly defined training as required by the business, either inhouse or externally as needed and delivered via all learning methods within agreed timeline.
Other duties as deemed relevant from time to time for proper execution of business

  • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

  • Educated to A Level Standard or equivalent
  • CPP (Certificate in Personnel Practice or 2021 People Practice) qualified and a genuine interest in HR & L&D as a career
  • Ideally two years proven Training Coordination experience in a busy L&D environment
  • Manufacturing and / or construction industry experience useful but not essential
  • IT proficient experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRLMS a distinct advantage
  • Excellent planning, organising skills, with an ability to prioritise and juggle a busy workload and multitask
  • First class attention to detail
  • Preemptive and able to assimilate new information quickly.
  • Proactive at all times and able to work on own initiative without supervision.
  • Ability to travel to various parts of the business when required, to execute duties.
  • Car owner & driver.

Preferred:

  • Working towards CIPD Level 5 in Organisational Learning and Development
  • This role is open to hybrid working (i.e. working from home and
