***This post is designed to provide effective leadership and management of the college's maths provision on our Hereford and Holme Lacy campuses.

Current provision in this area includes:

  • Functional Skills in Maths
  • GCSE in Maths


The Head of Maths will be an inspirational classroom practitioner with a demonstrable track record in developing and enhancing the teaching practice of others and delivering excellent achievement rates.

There will be direct line management responsibilities and close working with the Head of English to ensure effective planning and liaison with teachers, Curriculum Team Leaders and Vice Principals across the College to develop fit-for-purpose and high-quality maths GCSE and functional skill provision.

This role includes up to a 0.5 teaching commitment.
