ESTIMATOR - INDUSTRIAL ROOFING - GLASGOW/HYBRID POTENTIAL - Salary DOE + BONUS

Hunter Mason are recruiting an Estimator with industrial roofing experience to work with a well established roofing company based in Glasgow.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The role of the Estimator
Industrial Roofing will involve:
Estimator position dealing with a high quality range of various industrial and commercial roofing contract services; composite panel sheeting and cladding, oversheeting, roofing conversions, felt roofing, safe access systems, single ply, gutter refurbishment, rooflight refurbishments
Liaising with clients to gain an understanding of project requirements
Producing estimates based on material prices and labour costs
Identify which materials are required for each project, including shingles, decking, or other materials
Carry out occasional site inspections to assess current state of project
Produce detailed drawings for proposed construction plans for clients, contractors and other stake holders
Working closely with surveyors, engineers, contracts managers & operations manager throughout projects

ABOUT YOU

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator
Industrial Roofing with:
Must have estimating experience in the roofing market sector, ideally within commercial/industrial refurbishment
Ideally will have experience in liquid applied, hot melt, flat and pitched roofing, composite panel sheeting and cladding, oversheeting, roofing conversions, felt roofing, safe access systems, single ply, gutter refurbishment, rooflight refurbishments
Want to implement new strategies to streamline the current estimating process
Must have CSCS card
Full UK driving license
IT literate (Microsoft Office)
