A friendly and relaxed Financial Services company based in St Albans are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join a friendly and welcoming team.


This is a busy and interesting role where you will be speaking to customers on the phone and offering a high level of customer service, dealing with any enquiries that come in via telephone and in writing.

You will be based within a modern office centrally located and in easy reach of the town centre.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide an excellent standard of service
  • Deal with correspondence to and from clients as necessary, bringing any issues to the attention of the Team Leader
  • Deal politely with clients on the telephone
  • Process general administration, account amendments and new business inputting
  • Achieve and succeed service standards on call answering and missed calls
  • Comply with legislative and regulatory requirements, e.g., data protection, money laundering, FCA rules, treating customers fairly
  • Work as part of a team, assist colleagues if directed

What the employer is looking for:

  • 1 years+ experience within customer service and administration
  • Experience from the financial services industry is preferred
  • Minimum qualifications of GCSE standard or equivalent
  • Good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised and fastmoving environment
  • Ability to adapt to change with a flexible approach
  • Strong communicational skills and good attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
