We are actively recruiting in Swaffham and surrounding areas for experienced Support Workers to assist our client with some regular weekly shifts.

You would be playing a pivotal role in providing excellent support and care for clients including; personal care, assisting with medications, daily activities and encourage residents to lead a more fulfilled life.

At least 6 months' recent experience working with people with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities is
essential due to the nature of the work.

Shift patterns at this service include earlies, lates and long days.

Our daily tasks could include

Helping people to undertake personal tasks.
Serving food and helping them to eat if needed.
Changing sheets and making beds.
Using equipment to lift and move the people you support.
Notifying healthcare professionals of temperatures, pulse rates, or respiration rates seem abnormal or worrying
Promoting positive outlooks and encouraging people to enjoy their lives as much as possible.
Bonding with the people you support, learning about their needs and using your skills to assist our clients with delivering exceptional care and support.

Qualifications required

You must have the right to work within the UK.
You must be able to communicate effectively and have the ability to understand and be understood.
You must have a minimum of 6 months' experience within a similar setting in the UK.
