Marketing Strategist and Senior Leadership

Applicable Contract Terms and Start - Fixed term Maternity Cover, Spring 2024

Terms / Hours of Work (in brief) Part time, 3 days per week

Monday to Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Salary FTE £19,000 to £24,000 (depending on experience)

Admissions and Marketing Assistant Responsibility


We are seeking to appoint an Admissions and Marketing Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting the school's admissions and marketing efforts.

They will work closely with the


Admissions and Marketing Strategist, as well as the Senior Leadership Team, to assist in moving prospective pupils through the admissions process, enhance the school's brand through marketing strategies, and drive pupil recruitment.


You will be an excellent communicator (both verbal and written), and be the first point of contact for all admissions enquiries; Excellent IT skills are a prerequisite as the role requires use of databases/CRM systems with a high level of accuracy and consistency.


Responsibilities:


  • Support with admissions enquiries and follow up.
  • Assist in ensuring all documentation for admissions is collated and stored.
  • Use various software platforms to communicate, organise and report effectively.
  • Contribute towards the achievement of pupil recruitment targets.
  • Support with coordinating events for prospective parents, such as Discover Mornings.
  • Contribute to the implementation of digital and social media plans.
  • Support with market and competitor research to gather insights to contribute towards marketing and recruitment plans.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the school's website.
  • Contribute to the distribution of the school's weekly news via the school blog.
  • Assist in executing marketing plans, both online and offline, to enhance the school's reputation among key stakeholders
  • Support with general admissions and marketing administrative tasks.

Person Specification:

  • Educated to A-Level or University degree level
  • Experience of working within a school environment
  • Strong IT skills and experienced using ISAMS, Microsoft Office suite and Google workspace
  • Effective multitasker with a focus on detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of the pivotal role customer care plays in admissions and has ability to build and sustain good working relationships with parents and staff
  • Organised, proactive and selfmotivated
  • Excellent communication skills
