Futures Recruitment Services are supporting its client in the search for a Community Partnership Officer.
This is a wide-ranging facilitator role focused on supporting the Chairman and Members of the Local Rail Partnership Board. The postholder will organise,record, and note actions from all Board Meetings. Follow these actions up with a program of delivery using tasks and finish project management.

Prepare and collate detailed reports on traveller data and passenger trends and maintain and report on clear andaccurate financial records.


Day to day tasks may include:

  • To help The Board plan/set, deliver and record the objectives for rail partnership on The East Suffolk Line railway.
  • Project manage any task and finish tasks as identified by the Chairman or Board Members
  • To assist and advise Board Members of Community Rail Partnership (CRP
    )on budget/financial transactions.
  • To organise the Community Rail Partnership meetings programme and record minutes
  • The CRPO will also act as a liaison between various rail user groups and the Board.

Skills Knowledge and Experience for the Community Partnership Officer:

  • Good experience in supporting a Board or Leadership Team in organising regular meetings, setting targets and delivering action plans and outcomes, maximising the most efficient use of Board Members' time (Essential)
  • Collating financial information and producing accurate reports, ensuring adherence to funding guidelines (essential)
  • Good problemsolving skills and managing own workload to achieve deadlines
  • Good experience in producing and delivering presentations using appropriate delivery media (essential)
  • Sound experience in project management or previous work with task & finish initiatives (essential)
  • Knowledge of the legal structure requirements for community groups (desirable)
  • Committed to the promotion of sustainable transport for all

Additional requirements for the Community Partnership Officer:

  • UK Car Licence holder with access to own transport
  • Able to travel between locations throughout and beyond Suffolk.
  • Able to attend meetings outside normal working hours.
  • Able to work remotely from the office.
