Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Chief SpR Fellow in Acute Medicine, with an interest in leadership, management and quality improvement, at ST4 or above for a 1 year appointment.


Start date will be October 2023.


The Chief Registrar role provides senior trainees with 40% protected time to develop skills and confidence in leadership, management and quality improvement.

Learning that Chief Registrars gain from the Royal College of Physicians (RCPs) bespoke development programme will be put into practice in a supported environment that provides autonomy, flexibility and support to develop and support projects that address key local challenges and priorities.

This may include service improvement, engagement and morale, education and training, workforce, and sustainability.

The Chief SpR Fellow will also spend 0.6 WTE undertaking clinical activities within the Emergency Assessment Unit.

You will be part of an enthusiastic and dynamic team that aims to deliver excellent patient care and experience within its acute services.

You will be part of our large team of doctors, managers and emergency staff and will have full access to the training and development opportunities available within our general and tertiary referral centre.
