We are looking for a Day Unit Receptionist to work between our Haematology and Oncology Day Units (30 hours per week).


The Day Unit teams at St George's Hospital are looking for a flexible, approachable, reliable and motivated team player to work as a part time receptionist between the units.

The post will involve supporting our full time receptionists and schedulers.

Our busy day units provides chemotherapy, blood transfusions and other systemic anti-cancer treatments to patients within the Trust.

With close links to the in-patient ward areas, the Haematology & Oncology team is small and friendly with a passion for providing outstanding care, every time.

This role is patient facing.
You will need to be able to work well under pressure and cope with conflicting demands. Ideally you will have previous experience of working in an outpatient or day unit environment. You will possess excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. We mainly use iCLIP (Cerner) and ChemoCare IT systems. Knowledge of these systems would be an advantage but is not necessary as full training will be provided.
