Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a
Maintenance Engineer.

Principal Job Objective_

To ensure that premises and equipment are maintained and improved where required, in line with all appropriate quality and safety standards.

To take part in improvement activities to support the business in being more successful.

Key Accountabilities_
To maintain equipment on site
To maintain premises
To take part in improvement activities
To behave in a manner that is safe and that promotes good manufacturing practice
To work shifts or flexible working patterns when required
Necessary Requirements_
To be able to maintain equipment and premises
To understand all safety rules
To understand all quality rules
To implement and understand TPM and improvement processes
To liaise with visitors as necessary
Electro/ Mechanical experience
Experience in maintaining equipment and premises
To work shifts or flexible working patterns when required
Desirable Requirements_
Power Press and metal forming equipment experience
To take part in the Health and Safety Committee or other representation roles
Welding and abrasive wheel trained
Working Hours_

Standard hours Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm with flexibility, 37.5 hours per week.
Flexible to work overtime when required, willing to stay and resolve a problem / breakdown in production when required.
