As a Card Scheme Lead within our dynamic fintech organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our card payment strategies.

Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of activities, ranging from forging strong partnerships with major card networks to implementing innovative solutions that enhance our overall card payment ecosystem.


WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON

Strategic Partnership Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with major card schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, and other relevant networks. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to ensure our card offerings remain competitive and compliant.

Product Development and Optimization:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement card-based products and services. Lead the development of innovative solutions that improve user experience, security, and operational efficiency

Compliance and Risk Management:Stay vigilant about regulatory changes and compliance requirements within the payment industry. Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard our card payment operations and ensure adherence to industry standards;

Negotiation and Contract Management:Drive negotiations with card schemes and other relevant partners to secure favorable terms, pricing, and operational agreements. Manage contracts effectively, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards;

Performance Analysis and Reporting:Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to assess the performance of card schemes and related products. Identify areas for improvement, optimize processes, and drive initiatives to enhance overall performance metrics;

Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with teams such as product development, marketing, finance, and customer support to ensure seamless integration of card schemes into the broader business strategy. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the fintech or financial services industry;
  • Indepth knowledge of card payment systems, networks, and regulatory frameworks;
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of successful partnership development;
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights;
