Bio Products Laboratory's (BPL) have a new and exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Trainer Supervisor to join the Warehouse department located in Elstree, Herts.


Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, you will cover specific areas within the Warehouse in compliance with cGood Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), cGood Warehouse Distribution Practice (cGWDP), H&S standards, and KPIs and deliver general technical and practical training to the Warehouse team in an engaging and consistent manner.

Bio Products Laboratory manufactures pharmaceutical products derived from human blood plasma.

These products are used to treat patients for conditions such as immunodeficiencies, coagulation disorders and critical care (blood volume deficiency).


Duties & Responsibilities -

  • Ensure that staff training and development is fulfilled and to monitor individual progress through maintenance of training and development records and regular reviews.
  • Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and that the principles of GMP, GWDP and H&S policies are always complied with.
  • Encourage the team to work within a continuously improving environment by consistent communication of objectives and standards.
  • Responsible for carrying out continuous process stock checks in accordance with the relevant Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Continual improvement of training material (following the process).
  • Deliver practical training sessions in the Warehouse to staff in an engaging and safe manner, providing consistent training across shifts against relevant procedures.
  • To ensure that all Warehouse training and development meets our compliance and business needs.
  • The provision of training must be timely, efficient, effective, and enjoyable for the delegates.
  • Must learn technical information (IFS, EXCEL, WORD) about the department processes and equipment to help develop and deliver training material using a variety of formats i.e. videos, presentations, written assessments, handson training etc.
  • You must use effective communication skills with all team members to be able to analyse issues and effectively problem solve, thereby communicating instructions and implementing any changes that may be required through a training programme.
  • The post holder may be required to present training to shift workers, occasionally outside of normal working hours.
  • To be able to present regular updates on the training performance levels of the Warehouse Team.
  • To be an effective communication point for the team for all process and businessrelated information, including MHRA and FDA inspections by regular team briefings etc.
