Our well-known and reputable services business client based on the outskirts of Harrogate is recruiting a Temp to Perm Credit Controller to join their fast-paced finance team.

On offer is a salary of up to £28,000 depending on experience, and there is potential for the position to transition into a permanent opportunity for the right person.

This role reports into an extremely experienced and personable Credit Manager who is very supportive.

This is an end-to-end credit based role where building up relationships and providing excellent customer service is key.

Reporting into the Credit Manager, key responsibilities for the Credit Controller will include:

End to End Credit Control
Maintaining and developing relationships with clients and negotiating payment terms
Dealing with queries and any problematic accounts
Setting up terms and conditions of credit
Working towards clear collection targets and processes
Daily posting and allocating of receipts, bank reconciliation and processing of sales invoices
Weekly sales reconciliation and monthend reporting
Working closely with overseas teams and being a main point of contact for queries

The successful Credit Controller will have an excellent telephone manner with strong customer service and negotiation skills and will have proven experience within all aspects of the credit control process.

To be successful in this Credit Controller role, individuals will ideally:

Have previous credit control experience within a fast paced, high volume environment
Be immediately available or on a short notice period and can start a new role quickly
Be able to work towards targets and deadlines whilst retaining a high level of customer service
Have strong IT skills and will be comfortable with Excel
Be enthusiastic, confident and keen to learn new skills

Job Types:
Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 1-6 months

Salary:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
