Your role at Orbit
We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Tenancy Services Officer - Response for our East Region.

We are looking for someone to engage effectively with customers, resolving issues such as Breach of Tenancy, Evictions, Tenancy Audits and reviews.

You will be working with key partner agencies, such as Local Authority, police and wider internal teams to resolve issue, challenge behaviour and ensure safety across our properties.


You will develop relationships with partner agencies such as local authorities, fire and police services to ensure any issues raised are dealt with effectively, supporting both complainants and witnesses.

This role will involve a mix of working from home, in office and travel across the East with a focus on Ipswich and the surrounding areas.

This will also involve limited participation in an out of hours rota (to be discussed at interview)


What will help you make a difference.

  • At least 2 years' experience in successfully managing tenancy related matters
  • Knowledge in relevant legislation and best practice
  • Experience of successfully delivering good outcomes through partnership working
  • Able to support customer whilst dealing with difficult and challenging situations and people
  • An innovative thinker with an ability to be flexible in approach in a busy environment
  • Excellent verbal and other communication skills, including the ability to prepare complex reports
  • High levels of IT literacy
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assimilate results

  • Ability to travel to meet the requirements of the role.
