Summary
Building data governance frameworks to support implementation of data governance strategies.

Shaping data led organisation models and data functions.

Data Maturity assessments

Fostering data led culture & talent.

Deployment of data governance programs and solutions

Managing a small team with the project.

Role encompasses 60% Delivery + 40% Business Development


They will have also developed solid skills in the field of Database / DWH technologies and the main data integration and modelling tools (SQL, Data Modelling, Data flow mapping, Quality assurance, Testing & data validation), both in the relational and Big Data fields.


What will your role include?


Develop conversations and work with our C Suite clients to understand the role of data in their brand, their organisation maturity when it comes to Data & AI (Artificial Intelligence) and shape the data vision for their business.


Work collaboratively with clients to develop their data strategy; including business requirements, procuring data, technology infrastructure, identify use cases and turn data into insights, operating model, data governance & management, data functions, people, and processes.


Have the freedom to develop market leading thought leadership and position Bip's xTech CoE (Centre of Excellence) in industry forums, events, and social media.


Play a leading role in Bip's xTech CoE, establishing and developing best practice including promoting Data across our client portfolio leads, contributing to differentiated capabilities and growing Bip's employee skillsets.

Accelerate relationships with data governance and data management tool vendors/partners in the UK, EMEA, US


Requirements:

We are looking for data professionals with a holistic understanding of shaping and driving data & AI strategies for clients, how to connect the strategy's various components and acting as significant change agents and enablers for our clients:

Experience in Data Governance projects in some of the following areas: Data Quality, Business Glossary, Data Catalog Metadata Management, Data Modelling, Privacy & Security, Master Data Management, Data Lineage;
Knowledge of the main Data Governance frameworks (i.e., DAMA (Data Management Association) framework, ISACA, DGI)

Design of processes, policies, technical standards and operating procedures for data governance, risk and ethics


Additional Requirements
Knowledge of IT tools to support Data Governance

Experience in leading teams in the field of Data Transformation on Corporate or Enterprise scenarios

Experience in some of the steps forming data governance such as: shaping data mission/vision, data maturity assessments, operating model design and roadmap design

Review and support clients in the selection of IT tools to enable Data Governance

Experience working with complex datasets in large enterprises

Collaborative and team building approach

Project management skills

Coaching responsibilities for other members of data governance team.

Excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to interact with business functions as well as IT. Ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad range of audiences in a simple way.

Entrepreneurial spirit & proactiveness.


Desirable
Practical knowledge gained on implementation projects of Data Management / Data Governance platforms (Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Ataccama, Irion, Erwin, Talend, IBM, SAS, SAP MDG, etc.);

Database technologies and main Data Integration tools (SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, ETL, ELT) and supporting tools (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, Oracle ODI, MS Integration Services,
IBM DataStage , etc.) applied to traditional contexts and
Big Data .


Certification in CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or CIMP (Certified Information Management Professional)
Data Governance or Stewardship certifications from DAMA, DGI or ISACA
