Climate Campaigner
EIA is seeking a

Climate Campaigner:

F-Gases and Sustainable Cooling to join our Climate Team focused on campaigning at UK, European and international levels for a rapid reduction in emissions of fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases) and the transition to sustainable cooling.


Role purpose:


This key role will focus on eliminating ozone depleting substances and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) in the cooling sector, improving energy efficiency of replacement technologies, and holding companies and industry to account for their climate and environmental impacts.

Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of key aspects of the campaign this role will ensure that the campaign strategy is implemented effectively.


About you:


You will need experience in advocacy and campaigning on European (including UK) and/or global environmental policy along with a broad understanding of climate change and UK, EU and global climate policy.

You will need experience of conducting detailed research projects, as well as engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders and strong communication skills will be key.


What we offer:

This is a full-time permanent position.

You will receive a salary of £36,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on experience.

Benefits include 25 days holiday with additional days off between Christmas and New Year and additional days for long service, as well as flexible and hybrid working arrangements and a mental health and wellbeing support programme.
