Here at Willing Care, we are seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) for one of our very established clients._

About the Nursery:

The nursery is based in Maidenhead and is housed in a single storey purpose-built log cabin which ensures access for all.

It has four age specific rooms and each is led by a Room Leader and has it's onw team.

The rooms are well equipped with a variety of toys and equipment, it also benefits from two spacious outdoor play areas that boast wide open spaces for the children to explore and play.

Their kitchen has been awarded 5 stars by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead

Benefits for a Nursery Practitioner (Level 3):

Annual leave
27 days for new starters, plus bank holidays. Increasing to 29 days after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years service. Pro rata for part time staff

The role of a Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) within the Nursery involves:

Supporting the Room Leader in the day to day running of the designated room and nursery
Acting as a Key person to a number of children
Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of resources and equipment in the indoor and outdoor areas
Completing observations and ensuring that these are recorded accordingly
Planning and delivering activities that in line with the EYFS curriculum
Building strong relationships with parents and keeping a strong line of communication with them
Adhering to internal and external policies and regulations
Reporting and recording all incidents, as well as promoting a culture of safeguarding

To be considered for the role of Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) you will have:

A minimum of a Level 3 Childcare related qualification.
GCSE or equivalent English and Mathematics Grade C or above (if Childcare Qualification achieved after September 2014).
A strong knowledge of EYFS frameworks and safeguarding
