The Transformation Governance & Oversight (TGO) team is part of the Chief Transformation Office (CTO) and plays a vital role in monitoring and supporting the delivery of Deutsche Bank's most critical Change programs.

As the London Portfolio Analytics & MI Director you will report to the Head of TGO and will be responsible for the provision of accurate and timely MI to monitor the delivery of Deutsche Bank's Key Deliverables portfolio, including financial performance (actual versus budgeted spend and benefits delivery), milestone achievement, key risks and change control.

Your key responsibilities

  • Ensuring timely production of portfolio MI to support senior governance forums such as the Group Operating Committee, Management Board, and quarterly Regulatory meetings
  • Manage the tracking of the committed 2bn Euro cost reduction targets, analysing and interpreting data to suggest escalations/corrective actions where necessary, liaising with broader CTO organisation and Portfolio Performance Management (PPM) team as necessary
  • Analyse broader portfolio performance MI such as milestone achievement and change request data to determine whether initiatives are genuinely on track to meet committed outcomes
  • Review and optimise existing MI/report collation processes to ensure these are as efficient as possible, working with other areas of the TGO team as necessary to implement required changes. Partner with the Governance and Communications lead to ensure close alignment on governance calendars and required schedules
  • Speak up when required, when the quality of data input is lacking, providing coaching and development, as necessary, to drive quality

Your skills and experience

  • Extensive working experience in the financial services industry in Change related roles. Previous experience working in either Finance or PPM roles an advantage
  • Solid financial acumen, adept at interpreting and presenting financial performance reporting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to communicate to senior management
  • Ability to summarise in very simple and concise memos and/or slides the key topics, issues, proposed solutions affecting projects in which involved
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to assess a portfolio of multiple projects and trends
