Oxfordshire - Trainee Electrical Design Engineer - Salary £28-38k - Technology
My client are leaders in technology and are innovators in the industry. The company are increasingly growing and are looking for a Trainee Electrical Design Engineer.


Main Duties:


  • Produce single line and schematic diagrams using Solidworks electrical
  • Maintain and create symbols for Solidworks electrical libraries
  • Provide electrical calculations where appropriate
  • Create and maintain documentation for project technical file
  • PLC program design, implementation and testing
  • Design functional safety systems
  • Create machine test documentation
  • Contribute to the content of user operation manuals
  • Electrical fault finding
  • Electrical safety testing
  • Assist in the commissioning of machines

Key Skills and Experience:


  • Previous experience within an Electrical Maintenance or Design type role
  • Concepts of electrical safety
  • Ability to navigate a set of electrical schematics
  • Electrical wiring and soldering
  • Electrical fault finding
  • 2D CAD experience
  • Understanding of servo dive systems
  • Experience of PLC control systems
**The salary for the position is £28-38k depending on experience.
