About Your Role

The Head of Product (Markets) is a key leadership position within Silverfin's Product Management team. As a leader of both individual contributors and managers, you will be responsible for maximizing the impact of our product investments across markets.

Your primary objectives include:

Expert knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product and how it is used by customers.
Ahead of AI and automation: Keep Silverfin at the forefront of artificial intelligence and automation.
Strong product NPS: Achieve a product Net Promoter Score of +50 in each market.
Significant ARR contribution: Drive significant Annual Recurring Revenue from product innovation.
80% achievement rate: Meet an 80% achievement rate for committed product outcomes.
Industry-leading eNPS: Maintain an exceptional Employee Net Promoter Score for your team.
Collaboration: Foster exceptional collaboration with other departments and teams.

Your Responsibilities

Departmental leadership: Participate actively in the departmental leadership team, contributing to matters such as product strategy, operating model, and departmental culture.
Product ambassadorship: Serve as a product ambassador and evangelist, promoting internal and external awareness.
Team leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing product management team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
Cross-functional collaboration: Promote cross-functional collaboration and communication between product, engineering, business services, marketing, sales, and support teams.
Market-specific strategies: Co-develop and execute market-specific product strategies and plans that deliver value to customers while driving business growth.
Accountability: Ensure accountability in product planning and execution through clear goal setting and transparent reporting on progress.
GTM processes: Design and implement effective and efficient Go-To-Market processes, working closely with front-of-house leadership and Marketing.
Pricing & packaging: Ensure that pricing and packaging strategies are developed as part of every GTM effort.
Market trends & competitive landscape: Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify new product opportunities and areas for innovation.
Operating expenses: Own operating expenses related to your product initiatives.
Partner management: Partner with executives and market-specific Senior Product Managers to ensure transparency and alignment on product strategy and goals.
Communication: Ensure timely and effective communication of product progress, successes, and challenges to all levels of the organization in accordance with our product operating model.

Requirements

Masters degree: Hold a Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: Possess 7-10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3-5 years in a product leadership role.
Track record: Demonstrate a proven track record of defining and delivering successful SaaS products, ideally in the financial/accounting software industry.
Leadership skills: Display strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
Communication skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams, levels, and cultures.
Agile methodologies: Have a deep understanding of agile methodologies, product development lifecycles, and product discovery methodologies.
Data-driven approach: Adopt an analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience in metrics-driven product management.
Business acumen: Possess strong business acumen and the ability to work independently with business cases, budgets, and forecasts.
Flexibility: Be able to work 3 days per week from either Gent, London, or Gouda offices, and travel frequently to local market offices, HQ in Gent, and various company/industry events.
