We operate over 7 million of warehousing space across 30+ locations in the UK. Our distribution network spans all corners of the country.

Our Carlisle site are now recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator on a full time basis.


Salary:
£22,000 Per annum


Working hours:
Monday-Friday (08:00-17:00)


Job Description:


The purpose of a Warehouse Administrator is to undertake all aspects of stock control for all inbound/outbound products using warehouse/Crown management computer systems, also to ensure that all Stock is stored in accordance with company Policy and Procedures in relation to any legal requirements such as Food Safety / HACCP.


Key Duties of a Warehouse Administrator:

  • Be a competent team player to ensure compliance is met with regard to customer processes and requirements to an acceptable level.
  • The management of stock, customer orders and transport requirements.
  • Booking in and out of loads and issuing customer orders to warehouse Operatives as required. Preparing also for the following night shift.
  • All aspects of stock control.
  • Close correspondence with the customer.
  • Ensure Customers expectations are met by undertaking any additional tasks in relation to Stock Control in relation to issues, concerns or general enquiries and making sure a timely response is facilitated where requested.
  • As part of the customer service team you will be required to designate stock to locations and create jobs on GTS / ELC portal.
  • Ensuring drivers and vehicles are prepped before entering the warehouse.
  • Holiday relief cover after full training for 2 ESL planners based at Botcherby.
  • Note taker for investigation / disciplinary meetings.
  • Carryout D&A training.
  • Uniform Ordering.

Qualifications:


  • Administration experience.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work along and with mínimal supervision.
  • Ensure work is completed in a timely fashion.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • IT skills experience and confidence in using WMS and other systems, MS Office packages (especially Excel)
  • A working knowledge of basic warehouse procedures.
