Job title:
TIG Welder


Hours of Work:
Mon - Fri minutes lunch and 15 minutes morning break)


Hourly rate of pay (PAYE):£Negotiable (dependent on experience)


Overtime:


Over 40 hours Monday-Friday paid at a time and a third.

Saturday paid at a time and a half

Sundays paid at a time and three quarters

Responsibilities:


  • Perform TIG welding on various materials, including sheet metal
  • Assemble and fabricate metal components according to blueprints or specifications
  • Use power tools and hand tools to prepare materials for welding
  • Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary adjustments
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in TIG welding techniques
  • Mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or specifications
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in welding

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm


Salary:
£14.00-£16.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
