Areco Ltd is a growing distributor of Roofing and Building products to merchants and contractors across the UK and Ireland.

A vacancy has arisen in our fast paced warehouse for a pro-active Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative who is able to work on their own initiative as well as under instruction.

The main purpose of the role is to assist the Operations Director in the efficient running of the operational side of the businesse, duties to include loading, offloading, collection and delivery of goods as required using our 3.5tonne delivery van.

Skills / Competencies:

• Self Motivated
• Combilift Forklift training desirable but not essential
• 12 months in a similar role
• Good team player
• Good communicator
• Good time management and able to plan own workload
• CPC held but not essential

Duties To Include

1) Loading and unloading of vehicle


2) Despatch including producing relevant paperwork


3) To carry out vehicle checks as requested


4) Goods Inward - including checking Supplier orders and booking stock in on company system


5) Machine operation (if permitted), including fork lift truck operation.
