    A highly ambitious Quantity Surveyor is sought by a dynamic Building Consultancy in Manchester, ready to embrace increased responsibility and drive professional and personal growth within a firm that prioritizes development.

    The Quantity Surveyor's Role

    This position involves managing a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, mixed-use, and education sectors. Key duties include cost estimation, budget planning, contract preparation, financial reporting, and facilitating client and site meetings. Both pre- and post-contract tasks are essential aspects of this role.

    About the Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for a skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor who feels they've reached a plateau in their current role and is eager to take on new challenges. Alternatively, an established Quantity Surveyor seeking greater APC support and a clear progression route into a Senior role may also be interested in this opportunity.

    Requirements

    • A RICS accredited Quantity Surveying Degree or equivalent qualification
    • 2+ years of experience within a consultancy environment
    • Actively working towards or already achieved MRICS status
    • Strong experience in pre-contract processes
    • Proven experience on projects within the built environment
