Health & Safety Apprentice

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health, Safety & Environment Apprentice to support the Health, Safety & Energy Manager in the general management of Health & Safety across a large educational site to ensure compliance with statutory legislation.

We are looking for someone who is keen to learn about Health & Safety and wants to develop and build a foundation level of knowledge about the legal, moral and financial reasons behind it.

The ability to communicate clearly both orally and written is essential to the post.

This is an 18 month apprenticeship contract for 30 hours per week, and includes support to study your Level 3 Safety, Health & Environmental apprenticeship standard.

The School will arrange Student Membership to the Institution of Occupation Safety and Health (IOSH) and will work with you to develop your Continuous Professional Development (CPD), enabling you to achieve Tech IOSH status upon completion of your course.
