Technology Trainer:


Are you interested in working with us to enhance support for digital technologies in audit and accountancy? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate technology consultant to join our team helping us to expand our digital engagement and footprint.


This role will be a super-user for the various business systems and technologies we currently use, as well as playing a key part in our ongoing IT strategy to improve the use of technology in the firm.

You will be approachable and a vital part of enhancing the current support available to the wider firm as well as the audit team in the use of digital technologies in their day-to-day activities.


Reporting into the Change & Operations Manager you will be part of a wider operational support team consisting of Client Services, HR, Facilities, Finance and Marketing.

We want someone who is passionate about their role and wants to dive headfirst into all the exciting project work we have coming up while also being a Champion for driving better connectivity and engagement with our systems across Sayer Vincent as a whole.


You will have experience of working with Virtual Learning Environments to design and deliver online learning and in working with staff in utilising the technologies to provide an engaging student online learning experience.

A key function of the role will be developing and delivering continual training for our staff to ensure everyone has the knowledge and confidence to make best use of the technology available to us, while also keeping one eye on the future and highlighting what new systems we could implement to drive growth at Sayer Vincent.


This role is part time at three or four days a week, all on site at our offices in Central London, with a pro-rata salary of between £30,000-£35,000 per annum depending on experience.

Responsibilities:


Business system management

  • Manage staff permissions and access for our business systems (where this is outside the scope of our outsourced IT provider).
  • Play a key role in implementing and rolling out new technology, working alongside outsourced IT support and external providers or key staff teams where required.
  • Ensure adherence to software licensing and information compliance regulations in our use of business systems and software.
  • Keep up to date with changes to technology to ensure we continue to get best value from the products we use.
  • Support research for the routine and ad hoc purchase of software / systems / technology where appropriate.

Staff training

  • Liaise with staff teams and working groups to understand key challenges with existing systems and technology.
  • Proactively develop and deliver training and inductions, provide support and advice, contribute to learning and development programmes for staff for both existing and new business systems.
  • Create easy to navigate and comprehensive training materials such as user guides, helpful tips, and presentations to be issued in addition to training to offer further support to the team.
  • Assist staff to resolving persistent issues related to the use of our business systems (where these are not supported by our IT support) including liaising with third party providers or our outsourced IT support team where required.
  • Collate and review feedback from the team following training sessions and inductions, implementing changes where areas of improvement are identified.

Business information

  • Support and develop processes for ensuring data quality / cleaning / management.
  • Support the reporting requirements of various staff teams as required.
  • Contribute to organisational policies regarding quality information governance, security, standards and systems.

Working hours and salary

  • 34 days per week hours).

  • Ability to translate potentially technical language into clear and jargon free training/guidance.
