Description
Safely and efficiently receive, store, issue and despatch materials and products to meet production needs and customer quality and delivery requirements.
Main duties:
Ensure materials and products are safely, securely and efficiently received, stored and handled. Use Fork Lift Trucks daily.
Ensure material and product quality meets agreed specifications.
Assist preparation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures to optimise safety, quality and productivity.
Operate material handling equipment, within their level of competence.
Provide management information including stock counts, quality and material usage data.
Equipment used:
Material handling equipment including powered fork lift trucks
Mobile stock management IT equipment, Desktop computers and terminals
Salary:
From £12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus scheme
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Rochdale, OL16 2SH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
