Our Group was founded as JC Roxburgh & Co Ltd. in 1964, with a head office in Clydebank, near Glasgow. We also have an office in Troon, Ayrshire and employ over 40 people.

The business has provided independent financial advice and insurance services, as well as property sales and lettings, to thousands of families and businesses in the West of Scotland and Glasgow over almost fifty years.


Role Description:


This is a critical role in our business, where you will help the Account Executive as part of a small team with the aim of boosting revenue and profitability.

We are looking for someone with the capacity to deliver a high quality service to our clients in a way that meets their needs and demands.

Account management experience of at least two years is preferable, as are good communication and negotiation abilities. Ideally, you will be well-versed in a variety of products and have solid working connections with insurers.


The
role:


  • Ensuring accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with both client and insurers.
  • Processing queries, new business, policy renewals, adjustments, claims, insurance cover notes.
  • Processing client correspondence.
  • Supporting our Account Executives as and when required.
  • Maintain client records on company software and ensure the client and firm's files are well presented, accurate and FCA compliant.

Experience & Skills:


The role requires a reliable individual who has the ability to manage and prioritise workloads, so excellent organisational abilities are essential.


Key requirements are:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Acturis, or a similar software.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • The ability to produce concise business correspondence, proof read for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • CII qualification or working towards qualification.

We are offering:

A competitive salary dependent on experience

36 days annual leave per year (including public holidays)

Death in Service scheme.
