Job Advert:


We are seeking to appoint a Licensing Enforcement Officer to work in our busy Licensing team to support the effective and efficient running of the team, ensure compliance with legal requirements and licence conditions and to discharge the council's statutory duties in respect of a range of licensing functions.


The team is responsible for administering and enforcing a variety of licensable activities, including those related to alcohol, entertainment and late night refreshment; gambling premises and lotteries; Taxi & Private Hire ; animal establishments, scrap metal and street trading.


  • You will be required to complete a basic criminal records check for unspent convictions.
