THE ROLE

Overall Purpose
Create and drive the implementation of best practice talent acquisition policies, processes, frameworks and toolkits for head office and cinema based roles across all territories (e.g. sourcing, attracting, selecting, assessing and making high quality recruitment decisions).

Drive the creation of highly competent recruiting managers.


Key Accountabilities

Drive best practice talent acquisition practices across all territories

  • Drive the creation of external talent pools across different territories.
  • Lead the end to end recruitment process for all "Heads of Department" within each territory head office, ensuring effective multiple stakeholder management.
  • Lead end to end recruitment process for all vacancies in the Group Head Quarters based in Chiswick Park.
  • Proactively identify and engage the best external recruitment/search partners to deliver a fast and cost effective service within each territory, putting in place competitive commercial terms that are weighted towards successful delivery, keeping internal stakeholders aligned at all times.
  • Work with key stakeholders to define role accountabilities and person specifications, as and when required.
  • Work with local stakeholders to source, manage tenders and agree commercial terms for recruitment service providers (e.g. Applicant Tracking System, Career Websites, on line Assessment tools etc.).
  • Develop effective training programmes and materials that create highly competent recruiting managers, working with territory HR teams to effectively roll them out.
  • Ensure effective delivery of all policies, frameworks and toolkits by working closely with the territory HR teams.

Management of Recruitment Budgets

  • Create and implement standardised recruitment budget and forecasting templates that are used across all territories and create visibility at Group level.
  • Review and challenge proposed territory Recruitment budgets, ensuring alignment to known activity and projected employee turnover.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Create and put in place group wide talent acquisition dashboards, metrics and management reporting.
  • Using factual data, identify trends, issues and potential areas for improvement.

THE PERSON

A) Knowledge and experience:


  • Experienced Leader who has held senior Talent Acquisition roles, of an equivalent scale, across multiple European territories/markets (ideally to include UK and Germany).
  • Deep understanding and experience of working across multisite customer facing businesses in retail, hospitality or leisure.
  • Up to date familiarity and working knowledge of how to optimise different sourcing channels (e.g. social media, Linked In, resume databases, professional networks, career fairs, links with local schools/colleges etc.).
  • Handson experience with fullcycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Ideally, knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and career websites.
  • Proven success in creating and rolling out recruitment frameworks and toolkits across different countries, supported by effective user training.
  • Excellent understanding of the differences between various roles within organisations.
  • Proven pan European exposure to multiple markets with different cultures and ways of working.
  • Experience of delivering operational excellence in a matrix organisational structure.
  • Proven experience in working at both a strategic and operational level.
  • Graduate level or equivalent.
