About the role

TMS Global are a wholly owned subsidiary of DS Smith PLC, a FTSE100 listed multi-national packaging and display manufacturing business.

TMS Global specialise in the outsourcing of retail display, print and packaging and are active in 97 markets globally. Our TMS community consists of just over 300 people who are spread internationally across AMEA, AMERICAS and EUROPE.

We have a new opportunity within our growing finance department for an entry level Finance Business Partner to join us in a permanent role, which embraces a hybrid flexible working environment, where you would be expected to work at our headquarters in Manchester for 2 days a week.

This roles' focus will be to build and maintain good relationships with your stakeholders and support them by providing accurate and insightful financial/commercial information and analysis which assists in key decision making and action planning.

You will be compiling accurate budgets and forecasts to reflect the strategy and activities within Packaging and reviewing the month end management accounts/reporting (particularly the sales and margin related elements) and understand and explain any variances to budget/forecast.

You'll need to understand and analyse any financial information produced and communicate it to your stakeholders ensuring it's concise and relevant.

About you

If you are newly, fully qualified Accountant with CIMA/ACCA/ACA and have some commercial experience or exposure and want to move into a Finance Business Partnering role then this role could be a great fit for you.

Having experience working in growing subsidiary or in a changing environment in a fast-growing company would transfer over well to this role, but if you have predominantly UK based experience then this could offer you a great opportunity to gain exposure within a multi-national business.

This role will mean you interact with a lot of people internally and at group level so being friendly and personable will go a long way as you meet our great teams across the world.
