Lusona is working with a client in East Renfrewshire to recruit an accounts assistant for a full time, permanent position.

You will provide support to on-site departments and also Head Office.

Responsibilities in the role will include:

  • Processing high volume of invoices, matching the invoices to PO's and GRNs
  • Processing site paperwork, including POs & GRNs
  • Dealing with site queries
  • Processing weekly supplier payment runs
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Use of excel spreadsheets for upload/reporting purposes
  • Microsoft office efficient, priority on excel & outlook
  • Variety of other finance duties as and when required

Suitable applicants will have experience in the following:

  • Experience in supporting a busy accounts office
  • A good general understanding of purchase ledger/subcontract and payroll processes
  • Be methodical and organised
  • Good telephone manner
  • IT Literate, good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Initially this role will be office based until you are fully trained on systems and processes. Then the firm offers a 2 day per week working from home and 3 days in the office.

Office hours are Monday - Thursday 9 am - 5 pm with 1 hour for lunch and Friday 9 am - 4 pm with 1 hour for lunch.

Our client has budget a salary of up to £23K plus benefits which include discretionary bonus (paid twice yearly).

34 days holiday (closed for 2 weeks at Christmas, and 5 days public holiday), private healthcare, pension and death in service.
