HR Advisor - Homebased with travel to Bedford

Part Time hours hr per week, £17,500 pro rata (£35,000 FTE)
Bedfordshire Supported Housing is a well established social care provider in Bedford.

We are expanding and looking for a passionate HR Advisor to join our multidisciplinary Hub team and provide a comprehensive service to managers across all levels.


In this role, you will:


  • Deliver expert advice on recruitment, HR administration, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process, from drafting job adverts to onboarding new starters.
  • Ensure all HR practices are compliant with legislation and best practice.
  • Provide support and guidance on employee relations issues, including grievance, disciplinary, and performance matters.
  • Partner with managers to develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures.
  • Champion our positive workplace values and contribute to a caring and compassionate work environment.

You are a great fit if you have:

  • Experience as an HR Advisor or similar role.
  • A strong understanding of employment law and best practice in HR.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with managers and staff at all levels.
  • A meticulous and proactive approach to your work.
