Pilkington, part of the NSG Group, are now seeking a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to perform a variety of warehousing operational tasks.

We are now seeking a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to perform a variety of operational tasks.

Your role will be divided into three areas; warehouse, driving and office based.

You'll be responsible for picking, packing and delivering 7,000 pieces per annum, but driving approximately 70% of shift (up to 20 drops per shift) to a customer base of about 20 sites.

You'll ensure the highest possible level of service to our customers.

Receiving deliveries from the European Distribution Centre and putting stock away in the correct location, you'll pick customer orders and load relevant vehicles in accordance with a delivery schedule.

When delivering, you'll ensure all glass is delivered in a suitable condition and in a timely manner. This is an incredibly varied role

Able to work effectively as part of a team, you'll have good attention to detail and have knowledge of the Automotive industry and products.

A FLT licence would be advantageous.

Benefits

Salary £23,919 per annum, rising to £24,529 after 3 months service plus £3,587 shift premium per annum.
42 hours per week; 20:30 until 05:30, Monday to Thursday and 20:30 until 05:00 on a Friday.
28 days holiday per annum, inclusive of public holidays plus one day for each full year of service (up to a maximum of 5 years).
Staff bonus scheme (up to £1,800 per annum).
Group personal pension plan (a defined contribution scheme with Aviva with up to 8% employer contribution).
