Golf Club Catering Team
An opportunity has arisen for a couple to run the catering operation as their own business, at the prestigious Ross-on-Wye golf club, in Herefordshire.
The position would suit an aspiring and hardworking couple who would operate as a team running and managing the catering and function operations.
The earnings potential is excellent and if you're excited by the prospect to make a real success of your own business, then this is the ideal position.
The clubhouse has undergone a recent extensive refurbishment programme and the back of house / kitchen facilities and equipment are first class, and as a further benefit, if required, accommodation can be included with a recently upgraded 3-bedroom apartment overlooking the course and within the clubhouse.
The management couple would need to possess the following qualities, capabilities, and experience:
- An excellent record of performance and career progression in the kitchen and restaurant
- ideally in a prestigious hotel or restaurant.
- Existing or aspiring head chef / senior sous chef capability level, with a desire to create and present innovative, delicious, freshly cooked food.
- An imaginative creator of menus, blackboard specials, and function menus to entice and delight members and external customers.
- A strong grasp of menu costings and financial aptitude to provide high quality but profitable foods.
- Excellent customer facing skills to promote and expand the catering function diary.
- A capability to attract, retain, manage, and motivate staff to support you, as required, in this busy, friendly operation.
