This is a fantastic opportunity for you, an experience Project Manager to join a leading IT Services company, to manage both internal and external Projects on time, to budget and at the correct quality.
As the Project Manager, you will be delivering technical transformation projects for customers across all sectors: private, defence, central government, and public sector.
Experience in M365 projects is desirable but projects could also involve a wide range of technologies such as: Network / Wi-Fi, cloud migrations, back up / DR implementation, server/virtual infrastructure, DC migrations.
Key responsibilities for the Project Manager include:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered ontime, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Provide effective project progress reporting, and escalation.
- Provide effective project progress reporting, and escalation.
- Successfully manage the relationship with the customer and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Establish a Project Management Office (PMO) framework utilising capabilities in other business units, partners and third parties.
Essential skills / experience for the Project Manager
- Significant experience in delivering complex IT and technical projects.
- Considerable experience in delivering projects in a variety of customer environments.
- Experience of working with sales/customer facing environments.
- Exposure to full project lifecycle from selling through to handover to operations.
- Solid technical awareness in IT and Managed Services.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project Management tools.
