The role
As a Construction Director, you will take over the day-to-day running of our client's contracts team and oversee the delivery of all related construction projects.
- Other responsibilities include:_
- Develop longstanding client relationships as well as secure new clients
- Ensure that projects are completed to budget and on time
- Monitor project progress
- Make strategic and informed decisions to align with project goals
- Ensure that all safety and quality standards are met
- Manage and motivate team members to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments
- Implement best practices as appropriate
The requirements
- 10+ years of experience in construction project management
- Exceptional business development and commercial acumen in a construction environment
- Track record of successful project completion
- Ability to manage
- A natural leader with excellent interpersonal skills
- Eager to get involved in planning and implementing change
- Organised and able to manage multiple projects
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Able to thrive in a fastpaced environment
- Proficient with construction management software (Deltek)
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
