Primary School Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Walton-on-Thames
The Teaching Assistant role will start in September 2023. The role is working closely with the other Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistant (LSA) across KS1 and KS2.


New Road Education are working closely with great school near Walton-on-Thames who are looking for a full-time
Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work within KS1 or KS2.


The right person for this role as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in Walton-on-Thames will have good behaviour control and recent school experience of KS1 or KS2 curriculum.


Requirements:


  • Ability to calm and support children with additional needs
  • Experience in supporting children 1:1 is beneficial
  • The ability to use a variety of strategies to engage and support children in their learning
  • A collaborative professional who can work well as part of a small team
  • Experience within a preschool or knowledge of the curriculum

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm


Salary:
From £80.00 per day
